25th Annual Children of Promise Conference

The conference theme is: ‘Honoring the Past, Inspiring the Future.” This year we will be honoring the legacy of the late Ms. Tommie Whitlow, the founder of the Children of Promise Conference. This free event will provide parents, grandparents, foster parents and all of those who touch the lives of children with information and resources for raising “Children of Promise.” Panel speakers will discuss the current educational system, mental health, foster Care, Juvenile Justice and faith. Sojourner Truth African Heritage Museum will provide arts activities for the children. Lunch will be provided for all those who register on “Eventbrite.com.” Attendees will be put in a drawing for door prizes. The event will conclude with a hoola hoop contest for those young and old.
