Color The Block to invite you and your network to our Annual Plant Celebration and Freecycle Giveaway on January 25, 2025, at Rainbow Mini Park in South Sacramento. This event is a fantastic opportunity to connect with the community, support sustainability, and help those in need.
We’re excited to offer two wonderful ways for you to get involved:
Volunteer: Join us to plant trees, start new crops for the community, help with event setup, and run educational workshops. It’s a perfect chance to give back and learn more about environmental stewardship.
Freecycle Giveaway: Whether you have items to donate or are in search of something new, our Freecycle Giveaway is open to everyone. It’s a judgment-free zone where community members can give and receive freely. This initiative encourages community members to donate items they no longer need and provides others with the opportunity to use them, fostering a cycle of generosity and sustainability. Items available include household goods, clothing for all ages, and small appliances—all at no cost.
