This event is a unique community celebration that brings together the significance of Juneteenth and Father’s Day to honor freedom, family, culture, and the contributions of Black fathers and community leaders alike.

The event will take place on Saturday, June 20th, from 11:00 AM to 3:00 PM at Fruitridge Collaborative, 4625 44th Street, Sacramento, CA.

This free, family-friendly celebration will feature:

Produce and plant giveaways to promote healthy eating and sustainable living
Live performances showcasing local talent and culture
Resource and cultural vendors connecting community members with valuable services and opportunities
Kids’ activities designed to engage and educate youth
A Black Inventors Exhibit highlighting the achievements and innovations of Black pioneers throughout history
Recognition and celebration of fathers, father figures, and community mentors
